CHRISTIANE is a one-woman, electronic-driven powerhouse from Montreal, Canada. A singer and multi-instrumentalist, CHRISTIANE uses keyboards, saxophone, loops and various other instruments to perform her retro-dance-rock songs and indulge her penchant for experimentation. In 2017, she released her first EP titled Easy Release.
CHRISTIANE is the solo project of Christiane Charbonneau, who has been active on the Montreal scene for over a dozen years as a singer, saxophonist, keyboardist, arranger and songwriter. She has performed on hundreds of stages throughout North America with the likes of Bran Van 3000, Montreal rock veteran Sunny Duval, and disco-funk dodecahedron Les Guerres d’l’Amour. In 2017, she was also part of the Ligue d’improvisation musicale de Montréal (LIMM) as part of a team predominantly comprised of women, a first in the thirteen-year history of the LIMM.
CHRISTIANE is currently working on new recordings, and if you’re in the Montreal area, she'll likely be performing soon on a stage near you.
